After a career in the financial sector in the City of London, Margaret Rome while pursuing a new career in interior design met the sculptor Vivien Mallock. Vivien, a leading sculptor in the United Kingdom invited Margaret to her studio and after a few brief lessons Vivien recognised that Margaret had a new and exciting future as an artist before her.

Margaret works with Vivien Mallock in her studio and says Vivien has been a great inspiration and teacher. Margaret works in clay which is then caste in bronze using the traditional lost wax process.

There is already much interest in Margaret's work and she has specific commissions for animals and birds.
