Vivien Mallock's work covers a wide spectrum from portraiture and large monuments to small figurative pieces of both human and wildlife subjects.
Her most recent portrait subjects have varied from footballer Brian Clough to Sir Walter Raleigh, and her wildlife pieces from Indian runner ducks to meerkats.
She became an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1998 and is much in demand for bronze portraits and pieces which rely for their effect on atmosphere and movement. She was the last artist for whom Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother sat for a portrait.
